This is the chosen artwork that I wish to create a 3D model with.
Model Creation
As I focused most of my time on the modelling of my asset I did not have enough time to work on creating the textures, but I will be continuing to work on this asset during the summer and to have it finished for the start of my second year of this course.

First, by creating half of the asset from a single polygon, I was able to focus on the scaling of the asset to the specific criteria.

After I was happy with the scale of the asset I then mirrored it to speed up my workflow also using this as an opportunity to add any additional features where needed.

Once finished with creating the overall shape of the asset I then tessellated it to ass more polys then used mesh-smooth to round off the asset as seen in the concept art. I chose to do this as I would then extract the normal of this high poly version to be placed into the low poly version as a way to increase the detail of the object whilst still keeping within the polygon budget.
